About us

Advanced Environmental Technology (AET), is a knowledge-based group of groundwater and vadose zone consultants serving clients worldwide in the environmental restoration and water supply industries in Europe and the United States. AET’s principal investigator, Dragan Kaludjerovic Ph.D., leads a group of energetic and experienced scientists specializing in quantitative hydrogeology and earth processes.

Consulting: Since AET’s founding in 1996, our scientists have assisted clients with services ranging from basic hydrogeologic research to the practical application of advanced, state of the science groundwater flow and geochemical reaction simulations. Software: As a service to our clients and the worldwide groundwater science community, we offer for sale a broad range of technically advanced software for the simulation of complex groundwater flow systems and three-dimensional visualization of the subsurface data. Today’s complex problems in environmental restoration and water supply, often with multiple interrelations and cause-and-effect dependencies, requires the practitioner to use computer simulation in seeking an optimal solution. For these reasons, high-quality, reliable software is a must for any serious investigator. From its founding, AET’s scientists have been involved in the development, practical application, and distribution of technically advanced, high-quality software since working with Waterloo Hydrogeologic, Inc. Training: Software simulation of complex groundwater systems often requires coupling multiple processes (physical, chemical and biological) across a broad range of scientific disciplines. AET’s scientists can give you the knowledge you need to effectively apply your advanced software to reach meaningful conclusions for your project. Most often, AET provides training to its client in collaboration while completing a project. AET also offers open-enrollment training course open the groundwater and engineering community.
