Live OnLine
AGT is pleased to announce new LIVE ON-LINE training course. Using your Internet conection, you can quickly participate in a live training seminar, and on this inexpensive way you can simply brush-up on old skills, or learn new ones. With the ever-changing demands of industry, and the need to stay in-touch with technological advancements, our LIVE ON-LINE course offer a cost-effective solution. The course is 'applications oriented' and is designed for practitioners, those who undertake the modeling studies and those who review the work of others. Professional and technical staff from the Environment Agency, water companies, consultants, and industrial and agricultural users of groundwater will find it of value. The course is suitable for both the novice modeler and those with considerable professional experience. Participants attending this course will be able to include their applied modeling capabilities in project proposals. No prior experience of MODFLOW, MODPATH or MT3DMS is required, although a basic knowledge of groundwater flow and hydrology will be useful. Professional users of MODFLOW will find in Visual MODFLOW the integrated modeling environment they have always wanted. It has a superb graphical user interface which allows quick and accurate simulations of two- and three-dimensional complex hydrogeologic systems using the official USGS MODFLOW and MODPATH (important in litigation). Calibration graphs and the ability to plot head vs. time at any spatial location are other features experienced modelers will appreciate. From start to finish, simulations take a fraction of the time other packages take, resulting in higher productivity and lower project costs. In addition, Visual MODFLOW can instantly convert most three-dimensional MODFLOW files into its format, allowing further study of sites at substantial savings in time and money. Visual MODFLOW's multidimensional, graphical presentation of head contours, velocity vectors, and pathlines are additional features useful to both new and experienced users.
